Quality, convenient care

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have health insurance to be a member?

No.  Health insurance is not required to be a patient in the practice.  Your membership fees are the same regardless of whether you have insurance.

Can my child be a patient?

Yes. Children ages 5 and up may participate in the practice as long as a parent or legal guardian is a current patient within the practice.

Will my insurance cover the cost of the membership fees?

No. The practice will not bill your insurance for any visits, nor are the membership fees covered by your insurance. However, if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), you may be eligible for reimbursement of the practice fees through the HSA.

Can I submit an insurance claim myself for my visit?

Not at this time.  To keep membership fees as low as possible, the practice will not provide itemized statements or billing codes to submit to a member's insurance.

I have WV Medicaid. Can I enroll in the practice?

Unfortunately, no. WV law prohibits the practice from charging a visit fee for those covered with WV Medicaid.

What if I am admitted to the hospital?

While you are in the hospital, your care will be provided by the hospital staff.  We do not offer any inpatient care.
